A free listing costs nothing. Featured listings are $99 per month and Premium Sponsorships start at $299 per month depending on market size — no setup fee, no contract.
A landlord owns the property. A property management company is hired to run it — advertising vacancies, screening tenants, collecting rent and handling maintenance. Renting through a management company usually means a more formal application process and a dedicated contact for repairs.
